Game Two: King of the Road vs Wild Wheels
    Kings 12 - Wheels 7

The King of the Road team outlasted a scrappy Wheels team to remain undefeated.

King of the Road had several offensive stars for the day. Paul went 2 for 4 with an inside the park home run, a single, and 4 RBI's. Jerry hit 2 for 3 with a single, a double, and one run scored. Benito (Bagger Vance) Alconcel celebrated his 28th marriage anniversary by going 4 for 4. He showed all that there is some life left in his legs as he scratched out 4 singles. One of those singles was a swinging bunt single that he beat Ray to the bag on.

Matt (Turbo) Jarnesky led the Wheels team by going 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's. The King of the Road team will play the undefeated Polli's club in next week's action, which should make for an interesting matchup.

Game Three: Long Shots vs Good Strokes
    Kings 16 - Long Shots 6

It was strong defense that was key to the first win for the Strokes. Good pitching by Rueben was a big help on the defensive side. Lenny Castellanos a good job leading off going 2 for 3 and a walk with 2 runs scored.

With the help of timely hitting by Bobalu (Bobby Fultcher) 3 for 3, 2 dbls 1 homerun, Boisey and Joe Barn, who just came back from the mainland the Strokes 10 runned the Shots. It was a solid team effort on offence that helped lift the Strokes to victory.

The Long Shots were led at the plate by Lathan Atolin who had a triple, Jack Johnson who went 2 for 3, and Chuck McMillan with a 3 run Homerun and a walk.

    Game Four: Pounders vs Freds
    Pounders 20 - Freds 19

The last and by far the most competitive game of the day saw the Pounders come from way back to defeat an undermanned Fred's team, 20-19.

Fred's playing with only nine players, jumped out to a ten run lead in the top of the fourth inning. Sparked by an inside the park grand slam home run by Shadrack, the Pounders cut the lead in half by scoring five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. Highlighted by Kurt's three run dinger, Fred's kept up the pressure and tallied six times in the top of the fifth inning to build their lead back up to eleven runs. The Pounders responded in kind by scoring ten runs of their own to trail by one run after five innings.

The Pounders then changed pitchers to slow Fred's down. Gator came in from left field to pitch two scoreless innings and in the bottom of the 7th inning, they tied the game on a seeing eye single by Klash. The Pounders then loaded the bases with no outs and won it when Trox hit a drive over a drawn in outfield to drive in the wining run. The Pounders improved to 3-0 while Fred's dropped to 1-2.

Leading hitters for the Pounders were Gator, 3-4, two triples; Sean, HR, 3 RBI; Shad, 4-4, HR, 4 RBI and Trox, 3-5, 3 RBI. Fred's was lead by Matt (on loan from da Wheels), 4-5, HR, 4 RBI; Greg, 4-4, 3 runs; Kurt, HR, 3-6, 3 RBI and Jeff, 4-6.

In next week's action, the Pounders take on the Long Shots while Fred's look to get back in the win column against the Wheels.
